93 'til Infinity and beyond

The whole reason for the resurrection of this blog was because of the show I went to on July 3rd. It was a last minute thing, but was able to catch Souls of Mischief at S.O.B.s on their Still 93 till Infinity tour.  They performed a bunch of album cuts and a track from 3rd eye vision album. Can't believe it's been 20 years. Don't forget to watch the videos, thumbs up, and subscribe. Stay tuned for Rock the Bells footage coming up in October and the Skatalites sometime later this month.

Bada$$ from Brooklyn

Beastcoast!!!!!!!!! Holy shit...Underachievers, Pro Era, and Flatbush Zombies in one place.  Loved the energy in there and how they were throwing pool furniture to crowd surf. Underachievers had the best performance of the night in my opinion. Make sure you check the videos in HD and subscribe to my youtube channel.

Trillectro

Went to DC with my boy Freebase and it happened to fall on the first ever Trillectro concert. It was fucking amazing. As soon as we got there, Flatbush Zombies started to perform which I would have been pissed if I had missed it since that was one of the few names I knew. Got to see Phony PPL, Tabi Bonney, Casey Veggies, and Schoolboy Q to name a few artists that showed up. They also had the best invention ever....Redbull w/ vodka slushies... #ftw

La Coka Nostra and Jedi Mind Collabo

My boy O-rock invited me to this La Coka show. I was not aware of most of their songs, but they definitely put on a very good show starting with Jedi Mind Tricks and Vinny Paz's Sacrifice verse. Ill Bill was amazing as usual(It was his birthday too), Slaine was dope, but unfortunately no Everlast. I got a sick La Coka Masters shirt in the NY Rangers design. When the show ended, I was outside while waiting for my other boy and was talking about all the artists there and I look at 2 guys walking towards me and I say with a puzzled look, "and Chromeo?"....and P-thugg turns around and nods his head and says "yea!" lmao!!!

Gangsta Gibbs invades NY

Freddie Gibbs has been killing it lately and when he rolled through NY, I couldn't miss it. He blessed Santos Party house with a sick performance of a bunch of his hits. Push Montana also performed and brought out Maino and shut it down. Here's some pics and videos of the show. Seen Flatbush Zombies outside and they were cool people except Eric lol. He looked pissed, but Meech was cool as hell under the circumstances. When I asked where Jewice was and he told me at home taking care of his 5 kids....lol.

Maino and PUSH Montana

Garden of Sound

Been getting into a lot of rock lately, but here's a band I always respected since back in the days. Got some free tickets from work and they put on a good show. Loved the fact Chris was singling out the one weed smoker in the front. lmao!!! #smokeweedeveryday

The Infamous

Mobb Deep performed at Best Buy Theater and brought some special guests who included Lil Kim, Ghost, Alchemist, and Big Noyd. Shit was crazy in there. Got blazed the fuck out in here. It's funny cuz almost every show I been to, security always be busting the people next to me..happens again and again. #smoothcriminal

Bobbito and Stretch Armstrong Anniversary

Stretch and Bob put on a 20th Anniversary Show at LPR and had a ton of guests. Been a while since I went, but here are some of the artists that showed up; Beatnuts, DJ Premier, Lord Sear, Rock from Heltah Skeltah, Artifacts, Black Moon, Raekwon, Masta Killa, and Greg Nice.
